Dr. Brian J. Hunt has been practicing and living in the Saint Clair Shores community for over 40 years. He provides the latest advancements in dental care in a safe and comfortable environment. Dr. Hunt ensures that his patients receive the most effective and efficient care possible by using advanced technologies for diagnostics and treatment planning.

Since a healthy smile begins with good oral health, Dr. Hunt focuses on preventative care to keep your smile beautiful inside and out. Starting with regular check-ups and cleanings, he will help maintain, diagnose and provide treatment including fillings, crowns and more.

In his spare time Dr. Hunt enjoys spending time traveling and boating with his wife of 43 years, Mary, and their three children, Alex, Max and Sydney. He also enjoys spending time with his 3 grandchildren, Olivia, Julian and Sadie.

Alexander J. Hunt, D.D.S., knew from an early age that he would make dentistry his profession. A proud graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Dr. Hunt practices dentistry and proudly serves the Saint Clair Shores, Grosse Pointe, Brighton, and Howell communities. With the help of his experienced dental team, Dr. Hunt delivers high-quality, comprehensive dental care to his patients.​
“I feel blessed to serve such wonderful communities and to treat patients of all ages. Whether it be a child’s first dental appointment and trip to our ‘legendary’ toy chest, or full-mouth reconstruction on an adult patient, I’m committed to helping my patients achieve dental excellence,” he says.
​As a general dentist, Dr. Hunt enjoys all aspects of dentistry — including crowns, bridges, and dental implants. He believes in the importance of a beautiful smile, and offers a complete range of cosmetic procedures including teeth-whitening, bonding, and porcelain veneers.​
“Taking time to understand my patients’ specific needs is important to me. I enjoy getting to know my patients and I always allow time to discuss everything from treatment options to how their day is going,” he says.

Outside of the office, Dr. Hunt enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He looks forward to working with his father and caring for you and your family for many years to come.
